    As soon as you step in you will be captivated by the warm, stylish elegance of this lovely family holiday rental villa set in the quiet residential area of Elviria. This beautifully appointed family home exudes a tranquil vibe through the use of a soft and soothing colour palette in the interior with a vibrant splash of terracotta tones on the exterior façade, to further enhance that Mediterranean feel.

    Fully air conditioned, the double-storey family villa rental sleeps 10 and comprises: 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and features parquet flooring inside. The master en suite has its own private terrace overlooking the garden. There are tons of little details designed with relaxation in mind, such as an infrared sauna with sound system and a massage shower cubicle. One of the bedrooms is fitted out as an entertainment room with Wii console, sky TV and a large sofa bed. One bedroom has a quality double sofa bed and a small desk for office work. There is one double room en suite and one bedroom with single beds. The lovely intimate lounge, with its plump sofas, provides an ideal area for reading the Sunday papers while having a glimpse at the sports channel. Next to the lounge is a dining table for up to 10. The villa has a bright spacious kitchen with breakfast table and fully-fitted with all of the facilities required for the preparation of delicious meals or party snacks.

    The only thing better than the inside is the outside, the focal point of summer enjoyment. The living area flows through sliding doors onto a delightful covered porch. The beautiful wicker patio lounge set creates a comfortable and convivial area to laze around whilst watching those enjoying a dip in the pool. At the other end of the porch is a dining table with wrought iron chairs. The porch leads seamlessly onto the grassed garden where you will find the pool and a small recreation area with swings. An added bonus is the large communal grounds of the development with a swimming pool, childrens pool, paddle tennis and a playground where the kids can socialize and make new friends.

    The villa is within walking distance (1.5 km) of the nearest beach and a short drive away from the many exciting spots this side of the Costa del Sol.

    Location:

    Elviria is an elegant tree-lined suburb of Marbella about a half an hour from Malaga airport. Close enough to bustling Marbella to enjoy all the amenities but far enough away to offer peace and quiet. Very cosmopolitan and home to local Spanish people as well as a thriving expat community of English, Irish, Dutch, German, Scandinavian and many more nationalities. This is reflected in the wide array of cuisines on offer for all budgets and palettes: local fare; a host of ethnic eateries including Japanese, French, British, Indian and Mexican.

    In the actual village of Elviria you have a post office, a town hall and a church plus more eating places and local bars. There is a weekly Friday market selling fresh-from-the-garden fruits and vegetables for prices cheaper than the local supermarkets.

    When it comes to supermarket shopping there is a large Supersol supermarket in the Pino Golf commercial centre and an “Opencor”, a 24 hour convenience store. Also, at the end of the road you can find the Spanish Mercadona supermarket and a Lidl supermarket. Clothing, jewellery, artwork and other wares can be purchased at any number of trendy shops located in Elviria. If you’re looking for a more up-market shopping experience, Puerto Banús and La Cañada shopping centre, which has over 150 shops, bowling alley and childrens play area are only a short journey away.

    Nightlife in Elviria is somewhat subdued. Some of the restaurants and bars have live entertainment and karaoke facilities. If you want some serious partying then head to Marbella or Puerto Banus to enjoy the buzzing social scene in the evening. If you fancy a flutter, you can try your luck at the casino in Puerto Banus.

    There’s no shortage of sports activities and facilities within easy reach of Elviria. Golfers have four 18-hole, championship courses very close by; Santa María and Santa Clara Golf, the Marbella Golf and Country Club and one of the oldest golf courses on the Costa del Sol, Río Real. Likewise, tennis lovers are spoilt for choice, with El Casco Tennis Club and the Hofsass Tennis College, both in Elviria, as well as the Club del Sol, just 10 minutes drive away at Calahonda.

    Elviria beach has miles of some of the finest sandy beaches along the Marbella coastline, all of which are public and equipped with showers, WC and lifeguards. It offers many water based activities including sailing, windsurfing and jet skiing. There are several local chiringuitos serving cold beer, a great range of cocktails and delicious food. Located right here in Elviria is it’s most famous attraction – Nikki Beach and the equally famous and exclusive Don Carlos Hotel.
