CHILDRENS PLAY CENTRES - MARBELLA, COSTA DEL SOL
These places are great for when the weather isn't so good, as a bribe to behave good whilst shopping or just somewhere to go so they can burn off all their energy! Just remember to bring socks.

An entertainment zone located within the shopping complex of Plaza Mayor (Close to the airport) There is tenpin bowling, arcades and a play area. This could make a nice day out with the shops, restaurants and entertainment all in one area. You can even drive a short distance and pop into Ikea for some shopping whilst leaving the children in the Ikea playarea. But remember your luggage weight restrictions!

Located in the underground parking of the La Cañada you have an hourly charge play area with a cafeteria. It is brightly light with plenty of colour. As well as the climbing areas there is space to run around and for parents to relax, if you don’t feel like joining in with the fun. We’ve been here twice. The first time we met friends here and our daughter had a ball. The second time it was empty when we arrived so they started switch on all the music and inflate the bouncy slide and it was all a bit much for her so we had to leave. The staff were great and even refunded our money. See Megabowl below for other play areas in La Cañada.
Location: Carretera OJÉN, S/N, 29603 Marbella
Downstairs by the toys and post office is an enclosed play area with an hourly charge. We have friends that use it for their older child (7yrs) and she loves it. I don’t think though parents can enter.

As this is close by to us and you can get membership cards we use this one the most in the winter months (when it’s too cold to play by the beach) It’s great as it has an outside area for younger and older kids with an adults chill out area and then you have indoors. Indoors there is a separate play area for the under 2s. However our daughter never wanted to go in there as the older children’s area is bigger and better! So our friends and us would find ourselves jumping on the trampoline, sliding into the ball pool and being fired at with soft balls! There is a cafeteria, toilets and they cater for parties. We did find that sometimes with 2 or 3 parties at the same time it could get a bit too rough for the young ones. Price wise, you pay per child (1-3yr €4, 3yr plus €8) for all day play and adults are free!

We’ve only been here once for a birthday party and I think everyone had enjoyed themselves. The kids certainly loved running around and were very red faced and tired by the time we left. As we didn’t pay I can’t really comment on value for money, except for regular play it’s one charge, €10 for all day long, and I’m guessing adults are free. One little down point is the toilets aren’t located within Kidzkingdom, you have to exit and got to the left, so I’m sure when potty training this is point to consider.
