SHOPPING PUERTO BANUS, MARBELLA & COSTA DEL SOL

PUERTO BANÚS SHOPPING
This port is Shopping!  Everywhere you look there are shops for a variety of budgets.  There are the high street shops like Mango and Zara (For women, kids, men and home) and then you have the more exclusive Jimmy Choos, Dior and Versace.  This is one of the few areas where shops do not close for siesta.  The shops open from 10 am til 10 pm.  However during the summer a lot of them stay open for longer.

The key areas to visit are the Front Line.  This is the main tourist area as well.  With fantastic boutiques and restaurants on one side and the fabulous boats on the other, this makes for excellent shopping location.  If your other half is moaning leave them at a café for a caña (small beer) so they can watch the cars drive by and the moored boats, whilst you shop in peace.  Not so idyllic though in bad weather.

Back from the Front Line is the small shopping centre Marina Banús.  Here there is a selection of shops ranging from lingerie to perfume to fashion for all ages.  There is also a small toddler area in the eating area and a tobacconist.  Please note due to the change in laws you can only buy your cigarettes legally, in tobacconists or using the vending machines in bars and restaurants.
Opposite Marina Banús is Corté Ingles, the largest Spanish department store.  The best place to shop in bad weather in Puerto Banús.  Everything under one roof.  There's even a post office (El Correo) a lottery booth, two eating places and a supermarket.
MARBELLA SHOPPING
The Old Town is a lovely place to shop.  The narrow cobbled streets are full of a variety of shops and history at every turn.  In the Centre is the famous Plaza de Narnajos where you can relax, eat some tapas and enjoy a copa de sangria (Glass of sangria)  The majority of shops in the Old Town close for a siesta.

The main high street is where you can find the chain stores, Zara, Mango, Bershka, and Sephora to name a few.  Off the main street heading to the sea front, you can find more independent stores.  The sea front hosts the souvenir shops (Shop around though) and restaurants.

LA CAÑADA SHOPPING CENTRE, MARBELLA
This shopping complex really does have something for everyone.  There is the usual variety of fashion, perfume, sports and health shops, a supermarket, and eating area.  The bowling and cinema (This does not show movies in English) complex are also located inside.  There are also a couple of larger shops located on the grounds, but not inside.
MIRAMAR SHOPPING CENTRE, FUENGIROLA
This is very similar to Cañada boasting over 160 shops, a supermarket and cinema, which does show movies in English.  There is also a free wifi zone located in the eating area.

OTHER TOWN CENTERS
Obviously we have named just a few of the larger areas for shopping.  In all the towns you can find cute small independent shops, San Pedro and Estepona to name a few.  Nueva Andalucia has Centro Plaza where you can find hairdressers, shops and restaurants.  Guadalmina has a small commercial centre where there is a supermarket, restaurants and a few shops, mainly for the home though.
