Well-appointed, the townhouse is equipped with all the creature comforts today’s travellers expect -including air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Beyond the private enclosure of the townhouse, guests may swim in the sparkling communal pool and stroll down to the beach to discover the host of eateries along the coastal promenade leading to Puerto Banus. In addition to cafes, restaurants and a pharmacy, the immediate neighbourhood is home to a large supermarket where you can stock up on your self-catering supplies.
Welcoming natural light and a smart unfettered style of décor throughout create a breezy and serene atmosphere, which immediately inspires you to unwind and relax. The ground floor houses a sleek and fully-equipped kitchen, an open-plan living & dining room that flows out to an undercover porch offering a mixture of seating arrangement for lounging and dining. The porch merges with a small garden enclosed by a thick evergreen hedge, creating a little oasis of solitude for reading or sunbathing. Three spacious bedrooms furnished with comfy beds and two generous marble-clad bathrooms complete the sleeping accommodation; additionally one of the bedrooms has a small balcony. The home provides added comfort with air-conditioning available throughout, plus Wi-Fi so you don’t miss a social-media beat.
The complex itself boasts immaculate grounds with two pools -one for adults and a fenced one for kids- and a tennis court. It also enjoys a very convenient location -a stone’s throw from a supermarket and restaurants, and a flat easy stroll to the beach. Direct access to the A7 motorway puts all the facilities that Puerto Banus, Marbella and Estepona have to offer right at your fingertips.
LOCATION
San Pedro Alcantara is a coastal town wedged between Marbella and Estepona and, despite its proximity to glamorous Marbella, has managed to remain unspoilt. Very traditional and laidback, it attracts the type of visitor looking for a more low-key holiday.
Although San Pedro is small, it is a vibrant town abuzz with restaurants, bars, bakery cafes and ice cream parlours. The food scene is both local and international, with Irish pubs, Asian restaurants, Dutch bars all next to traditional Spanish bars and restaurants. There are a couple of well-priced supermarkets (Mercadona, Maskom, Supersol and Día), a 24-hour pharmacy and boutiques. Thursday is street market day, a true bargain hunter’s paradise. The Boulevard is fast becoming the heart of San Pedro and a favourite with children with a total of six playgrounds and a skateboard area. Adults can sit around nearby, or go to one of the bar/restaurants for a drink, a snack or a meal.
Nueva Alcantara is the new part of town with wide tree-lined avenues leading down to the beach. On the waterfront, the 2 km sweeping tiled promenade serves as an open-air gym with exercise machines and is always bustling with joggers, strollers and dog walkers. It is dotted with chiringuitos all the way along, most of them offering Mediterranean cuisine and, of course, the ubiquitous thirst-quenching tinto de verano. The promenade also links up to Puerto Banus and it is possible to walk all the way to Marbella along the sea front.
Don't expect any wild nightlife. A night out typically consists of a meal and a few drinks at a local bar - although there are a couple of salsa clubs- or a moonlight stroll along the beach promenade. If you're looking for a big party night, Marbella and Puerto Banús are a short drive away.
For sporting activities, there are many options. The Nueva Alcantara padel and tennis club has 11 padel courts and 4 tennis courts. The adjacent residential area of Guadalmina is also known for its well kept golf courses. If you just want to hit a few balls try the Guadalmina public driving range (Located close to the Barceló Hotel). For a bit more action for the kids, the Cable Ski Marbella, next to the driving range, offers wakeboard, kneeboard, and water-ski lessons. The road to Ronda starts at San Pedro so experienced cyclists can enjoy a challenging but beautiful ride.

Huset og området havde alt hvad vi skulle bruge. Pænt og rent samt gode senge til alle, og hyggelig terrasse med grill. Poolen var rigtig god, og havde en dyb og lavere ende. Skønt og rent område med græs rundt om poolen til solbadning. Perfekt til bsee more

Skønt og rent område med græs rundt om poolen til solbadning. Perfekt til både børn og voksne, og huset havde liggestole til at tage med derned. Lige ved poolen en rigtig fin padletennisbane til fri afbenyttelse. Vi havde selv taget ketcher og bolde med, da huset ikke har nogen. En stor tak til Colleen for super service og info gennem hele forløbet. Vi følte os meget trygge, og hvis vi kommer til Marbella igen, booker vi her igen.

Huset är fint inrett, och det fanns verkligen allt man behövde i köket för att laga mat hemma. Sängarna var sköna, och uteplatsen var jättefin för alla måltider. Extraplus för tvättmaskin och ett extrautrymme utanför köket, där det fanns två solstolar och en solsäng. Vi köpte två parasoller och eftersom vi hade hyrt bil, så var läget för huset helt perfekt, då det ligger mitt emellan Estepona och Marbella. Så vi utforskade olika stränder nästan varje dag. Men ibland stannade vi bara ”hemma” och låg och slappade vid polen. Ibland var det bara vi där och ibland 1 eller 2 andra gäster. Missa inte själva staden San Pedro som ligger på andra sidan stora vägen. Genuin och jättetrevlig för ett kvällsbesök. Det bästa med läget på huset, var att det låg i ett lugnt område. Det är roligt att åka in till Marbella eller Puerto Banus, men alltid lika skönt när man kom hem till lugnet i huset. Vi har tre döttrar 20, 16 och 14 år och de älskade huset och polen. Det enda minuset är att det är lite långt att gå till stranden (ca 7-8 min)och jag rekommenderar strandskor då stranden i San Pedro är lite stenig när man går ned i vattnet. Men det är en liten anmärkning då vi är väldigt nöjda med boendet och verkligen kan rekommendera det. Kontakten med värden fungerade till 100 %. Jättebra service och all information kom i god tid och var utförlig, tydlig och innehöll allt som vi behövde. Tack Collleen och Thomas för det! Vi trivdes väldigt bra och kände oss som hemma:)
