Imagine lazy days poolside and relaxing alfresco nights with friends on the spacious terraces. Set in the lovely Castiglione complex, with its abundance of mature greenery, this holiday rental promises a carefree beach getaway.
The holiday home takes full advantage of the Mediterranean climate, with the indoor and outdoor flowing effortlessly into each other. The crisp and functional décor enhances the feeling of light and space inside. The large pergola-covered verandah, with comfy seating, offers views to the garden and pool. A secluded rooftop sundeck guarantees no tan lines. Air conditioning and WiFi. The TV is a smart TV so it is possible to log onto your own Netflix account. Otherwise it is Spanish TV only. It has a standard coffee filter machine.
We always provide complimentary beach towels for your convenience.
Please note this apartment has a strict no under 12 years old allowed. Nor any groups of adults under the age of 27 years old. The property is located in a no party urbanisation. There is to be no late night noise nor any anti-social / disruptive behaviour.

LOCATION
Castiglione is a prestigious gated community with an outdoor pool set in lush tropical gardens. It has direct access to the San Pedro beach promenade, which goes all the way to Marbella. The location is about as good as it gets and you can leave the car home. Castiglione is in the heart of the beach lifestyle action but still enjoys a quiet location for a relaxed holiday. You can choose from an array of restaurants and beach bars, along the waterfront or in the town itself. Both San Pedro town and Puerto Banus are a flat, easy stroll away.
San Pedro Alcantara is a coastal town wedged between Marbella and Estepona and, despite its proximity to glamorous Marbella, has managed to remain unspoilt. Very traditional and laidback, it attracts the type of visitor looking for a more low-key holiday.
Although San Pedro is small, it is a vibrant town abuzz with restaurants, bars, bakery cafes and ice cream parlours. The food scene is both local and international, with Irish pubs, Asian restaurants, Dutch bars all next to traditional Spanish bars and restaurants. There are a couple of well-priced supermarkets (Mercadona, Maskom, Carrefour and Día), a 24-hour pharmacy and boutiques. Thursday is street market day, a true bargain hunter’s paradise. The Boulevard is fast becoming the heart of San Pedro and a favourite with children with a total of six playgrounds and a skateboard area. Adults can sit around nearby, or go to one of the bar/restaurants for a drink, a snack or a meal.
Nueva Alcantara is the new part of town with wide tree-lined avenues leading down to the beach. On the waterfront, the 2 km sweeping tiled promenade serves as an open-air gym with exercise machines and is always bustling with joggers, strollers and dog walkers. It is dotted with chiringuitos all the way along, most of them offering Mediterranean cuisine and, of course, the ubiquitous thirst-quenching tinto de verano. The promenade also links up to Puerto Banus and it is possible to walk all the way to Marbella along the sea front.
Don't expect any wild nightlife. A night out typically consists of a meal and a few drinks at a local bar - although there are a couple of salsa clubs- or a moonlight stroll along the beach promenade. If you're looking for a big party night, Marbella and Puerto Banús are a short drive away.
For sporting activities, there are many options. Very close by is the Nueva Alcantara Club with 16 padel courts and the I/O gym. The adjacent residential area of Guadalmina is also known for its well kept golf courses. If you just want to hit a few balls try the Guadalmina public driving range (Located close to the Barceló Hotel). For a bit more action for the kids, the Cable Ski Marbella, next to the driving range, offers wakeboard, kneeboard, and water-ski lessons. The road to Ronda starts at San Pedro so experienced cyclists can enjoy a challenging but beautiful ride.

You should definitely include pictures with the lovely sea view from the front porch in the apartment's advertisement -) We enjoyed very much taking a light snack out there around lunchtime

A lift would be perfect especially when vacating ie 5 x 2 = 10 x four and a half flights = 45 flights of stairs in about 45 mins ! Didn't need to go to the gym that day.

Also in the folder we have a list of activities, what to do when it's raining etc and also a medical page for public and private clinics, hospitals and dentists. Two weeks before arrival we also send out a link to an on-line pdf which lists our go to places of interest, restaurants and local shopping. This pdf is also available via the guest log in section.

We were incredibly impressed with our stay. The property itself was perfect. The views from the outside space over the pool were beautiful and the inside was very comfortable. We were super impressed with all the extras, such as basics in the kitchesee more

We were super impressed with all the extras, such as basics in the kitchen for cooking and washing, as well as items such as the BBQ, sun loungers, beach towels, clothes dryer, beach bag, sun hats, shopping trolley, laundry bag, candles ...the list goes on. Nothing was forgotten.
That's before I mention the service from the office. I have never received so much paperwork relating to step by step directions to get to the property and local recommendations. It really was very impressive. Vilma checked us in and was very attentive and thorough. It was nice to be able to check out a couple of hours later on our departure day too. As for the location, it is a stone's throw from the sea and beautiful promenade. The off road parking was ideal too. We loved our stay and hope to return soon. |

Never have I done a review before , as I am a nit picker and ALWAYS find fault. But to my amazement the property I stayed at was by far the BEST EVER. Firstly before I travelled Colleen replied to all of my emails with detailed information, she was polite, efficient, the payment process was straight forward and secure, which put my mind at ease. A travel cot and high chair was also offered in advance that was music to my ears as I have a one year old. On arrival I was met by Thomas who was friendly warm and extremely welcoming. The property was in a perfect location. Everything was amazing from the lemon tree and fresh herb plants outside the front door to the HIGH QUALITY kitchen utensils and equipment , washing machine , and my favourite which made my trip , was the cleaning cupboard , a top quality iron. Vacuum. Full range of cleaning products as I am a neat freak It really was home from home to wake up daily and do the hoovering and cleaning was a dream to me. Every single room was spotless linen immaculate , I could not find one bit of dust , it felt like I was the first to stay there with my family. As for the home entertainment NEVER in all the years of travelling have I been so spoilt for choice with Movies Box Sets Documentaries . I could write a book on this review , and go on and on . I could not find any faults , and only have positive comments. Thank you and I will defiantly be booking the Apartment in the future.
