The Pool and Grounds
The pool terrace is the main outdoor hub. The pool is 8.5 by 4 metres, with a shallow end of 1 metre and a deep end of 1.75 metres. Pool heating is optional. Please contact us for more information and price. Sun loungers are arranged around the terracotta terrace and a separate poolside gazebo has a bar, seating and a bathroom. There is also an outdoor fridge, freezer and small coal BBQ. The pool area is on the lower-ground floor level

Away from the pool, the gardens are mature and well maintained, with tall palms, jacaranda trees, flowering shrubs, a small stream, and a stone fountain. The pool table is positioned under a covered open terrace overlooking the gardens, with ivy-covered arches and a view across the lawns. On the ground floor there are two adjoining dining areas by a large gas BBQ. One is outdoor and the other is inside. They are made up of long tables put together.

The surrounding area is quiet and green, with golf courses immediately adjacent. Marbella is approximately 25 minutes by car. Estepona is approximately 25 minutes. Ample parking for 8 cars makes arrivals straightforward for large groups coming from Malaga Airport. Benahavís village is around 17 minutes by car up the hill and is one of the better-known places to eat on the Costa del Sol, sometimes referred to locally as the dining room of Andalucia. The village centre has a good concentration of restaurants covering traditional Spanish, Mediterranean and international cooking, many with terrace dining on cobbled streets. The property works well as a base for day trips. Ronda, one of Andalucia’s most visited historic towns, is approximately one hour by car and makes a full day out. Marbella old town, Estepona, Gibraltar and the Sierra de las Nieves National Park are all within reach. The area has a Mediterranean climate with long warm summers and mild winters. Being in the hills, temperatures can be a few degrees cooler than on the coast, which is welcome in the height of summer. Spring and autumn are often good for golf, walking and outdoor dining. Winter can bring cooler and occasionally rainy spells. December to February are the quieter months and while sunny days are common, pack layers and do not rely on beach weather.

Perfect place for large groups!

We loved all the areas to sit, rest and relax especially by the gorgeous pool. Indoors we had a large dining table to fit our group of 12. Beauty and character all around the Villa. The large kitchen was perfect for our caterer to whip up our meals asee more
We loved all the areas to sit, rest and relax especially by the gorgeous pool. Indoors we had a large dining table to fit our group of 12. Beauty and character all around the Villa. The large kitchen was perfect for our caterer to whip up our meals as well. We took advantage of the location with day trips to local attractions like Estepona, Marbella, Ronda and Malaga. We loved “coming home” at the end of the day.

We spent a week here with our family age range from 1 to 92. The villa was perfect for us.
So much space indoor and outdoor. Plenty of areas to sit together and also spaces to escape to for some quiet time. The paddle court was great to have toosee more

A wonderful, sprawling hacienda in a lovely quiet location. Such a relaxing atmosphere. We had a great time. Colleen and Thomas were very helpful with any requests we had. |

The house is located in a very private gated community. It is equipped with every you need for a larger travel group. Very nice heated pool, several bbq stations, fast and stable WIFI. Vilma was always reachable and helpful. Could recommend this villsee more

The check in process & check out process was smooth and efficient, and the space was excellent. The villa was in good condition, although it is an old building so requires some maintenance. The location was also excellent. it was nice and private, sesee more

The location was also excellent. it was nice and private, secure, and located on the back of a number of golf courses which is great if you like to play. Overall, everyone who stopped with us gave us amazing feedback. We had the most amazing week. Thank you to the property managers and owner for letting us stop! Highly recommended! Scott

We just returned from a one week stay at the palatial Hacienda Del Colorado villa/mansion, in the private Vega Colorado community in Benahavis (minutes away from Marbella), in which we combined the wedding of our son on the grounds of the property, fsee more
We just returned from a one week stay at the palatial Hacienda Del Colorado villa/mansion, in the private Vega Colorado community in Benahavis (minutes away from Marbella), in which we combined the wedding of our son on the grounds of the property, followed by several days of touring in Andalucia with our extended family and friends. The wedding ceremony was held on the beautiful grounds, followed by a scrumptious banquet (arranged through a local caterer) with 55 guests who traveled from all over the US and Europe to attend the festivities. We utilized all the sleeping space to the maximum, which peaked at about 24 adults plus small children. Our other guests, many of which came for a shorter number of days, stayed at the nearby Westin La Qunita resort, which is just a short 10 minutes walk from this property, very convenient. The huge dining room comfortably accommodated a peak of 50+ people at some of our meals. The huge kitchen with multiple refrigerators, freezers and dishwashers allowed for easy self-catering. There is a large laundry room and even a stocked wine cellar with wine for sale. The heated, illuminated swimming pool was a big hit, being utilized every single day and night, even in the cool and sometimes rainy mid-March weather. Our guests took full advantage of all the other amenities, including the indoor Jacuzzi, Sauna and an authentic Pool/Billiards table, the TV room, the barbecue grills and the simple ability to find a quiet place on many of the porches and verandas surrounding the house. A multi-speaker "Sonos" wireless speaker system was available to provide music anywhere around the property. The Internet Wi-fi is engineered with multiple wi-fi access points which provided excellent internet connectivity everywhere around this huge property. The landscaping and gardens are meticulously maintained, with fountains and and a stream running through the garden. Ample parking in the huge driveways (altogether our party hired 6 cars at the Malaga airport), and the a full-time caretaker lives on the property in a separate apartment over the garage, and was available to immediately address any concernsneeds that we had during our stay. The bedding was super-comfortable, and plenty of fresh, clean towels were provided for all. Kudos to Thomas, who met with and worked with our caterer during the two and a half months long planning process, which made the wedding and banquet a complete success. All in all, we felt like royalty for the week, successfully combining a wedding with a huge family reunion, all in the privacy of our own luxurious palace.
