The villa sits on a 400m² plot behind a private gated entrance and was refurbished in 2023. It sleeps six across three bedrooms, with a double sofa bed in the living room available if needed. The layout centres on generous outdoor space: a private pool, a covered outdoor dining area that seats eight, a poolside lounge and a separate roof terrace. Inside, the living room sits at the centre of the interior: a large linen sofa, and sliding glass doors that open directly onto the pool terrace. The interior white lime-wash walls, terracotta floors and pale oak style run through every room, with the kitchen and bathrooms updated while retaining the warmth of the original villa.

The garden is fully enclosed and private, with a solid perimeter wall and mature planting. The pool is 8 by 4 metres with a depth ranging from 1m to 2m, surrounded by terracotta brick paving. Optional pool heating is available at an additional charge. Four sun loungers and a sofa seating area sit alongside the pool. A gas BBQ is on the terrace. The covered outdoor dining table seats eight and sits directly off the kitchen and living area, making it the main space for group meals. The kitchen opens directly onto the terrace, linking indoor and outdoor dining. Note for families with young children: the terracotta brick paving around the pool is uneven underfoot. Shoes are recommended. A set of external stairs leads up from the garden to a separate roof terrace above the villa. It has a large corner sofa, a coffee table and open views over the neighbourhood rooftops and palms toward the mountains.

Villa Ivory is in Linda Vista Playa, a quiet residential area on the western edge of San Pedro de Alcantara, between the Guadalmina golf courses and the main San Pedro beachfront. The neighbourhood is low density: detached villas, small complexes and mature gardens behind whitewashed walls. The streets are calm and there is very little through traffic. Playa de Linda Vista is six minutes on foot (500m). The beach is quieter than the main San Pedro promenade beach. It has coarse sand and stones at the water entry, which can be uncomfortable on bare feet. Aqua shoes are recommended, particularly for children. The main San Pedro promenade beach is around 15 to 16 minutes on foot to the east and offers a wider stretch of beach and more facilities. There are two easy walking routes east toward the San Pedro promenade. One follows the beach. The other follows Calle los Eucaliptos, a quiet residential road passing the Basilica Paleocristiana de Vega del Mar, a 4th-century early Christian site worth a visit. Both routes are flat and take around 15 to 16 minutes. The beach route is more open, while the road route is more sheltered. El Ancla, the nearest beach restaurant and club, is around 7 minutes on foot (500m) near the beach access. It has a saltwater pool and a seafood menu. Close by there is also Macaao chiringuito. San Pedro town centre is around 20 minutes on foot or a few minutes by car. A small cluster of cafés, convenience stores and new local spots are developing along Avenida del Mediterráneo within walking distance, alongside nearby mini markets. For larger supermarkets, a short drive is the practical option. A car gives the most flexibility from this location and is recommended, though taxis, Bolt and Uber operate in the area. A bus stop within walking distance provides services to Estepona, Puerto Banús and Marbella. Puerto Banus is approximately 10 -15 minutes by car. San Pedro de Alcantara has a Mediterranean climate with long warm summers. Sea breezes keep temperatures noticeably cooler than inland Andalusia in the height of summer. Positives: House was very clean, nice linen and towels, new kitchen and loads of pans, crockery, glassware, etc etc so a home from home. All the furniture was clean and comfortable. Good WiFi connectivity. Walking distance to the beach and shops, Ubesee more

Good WiFi connectivity. Walking distance to the beach and shops, UberEats also useful for getting groceries delivered if you've not got a car/hire car.

Negatives: Although a quiet area, there was a house being built next door which had a crane in operation which was noisy from 8am most days. Not all the time and typically stopped from 3pm onwards but a bit annoying to be woken up by (it had a squeaky cable brake which created the noise). This is obviously temporary and can't be helped. The pool needs some ongoing maintenance, the host was made aware and they sent someone down the next day (which was amazing) but we all enjoyed using it nevertheless. The host was the best we've experienced, very responsive and helpful throughout!

Our family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers loved this house and all its amenities. The pool and yard was nice and private and we spent many meals around the lovely dining area on the patio. Big plus that the house had a grill. The inside of the house wassee more
Our family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers loved this house and all its amenities. The pool and yard was nice and private and we spent many meals around the lovely dining area on the patio. Big plus that the house had a grill. The inside of the house was beautifully decorated and just as described in the pictures. It was nice to have a/c in the bedrooms as it was quite warm during the days.
Close 10 minute walk to the boardwalk made it easy to take a morning or evening stroll. Easy and short walk to the busstop to catch the bus into Puerto Banus or Marbella. We all loved this house and would not hesitate to come back. Nice and quiet neighborhood which felt very safe. |

It would be great plus if there was shampoo, conditioner and soap in the showers. Nice touch would also be to have laundry detergent. Now we bought a pack and left whatever we didn't use. Hope it was left for the next guests to use. It would be greatsee more

Thank you for your feedback. We do provide standard in all properties some washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and a bit of cleaning products. But hygiene items we do not provide. We are really happy you had a wonderful stay and we look forward to see more

The villa was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We honestly couldn't think of anything that wasn't in the kitchen, right down to dippy egg cups! The location was perfect – jsee more
The villa was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We honestly couldn't think of anything that wasn't in the kitchen, right down to dippy egg cups! The location was perfect – just a short walk to the beach and close to local amenities (10 mins walk to great supermarket), yet wonderfully secluded and away from the busy roads for that perfect escape. The pool area was great, large pool and comfy loungers, as the villa was for 6 it would have been great to have an extra 2 beds but we made use of the sofa. If you're travelling with little little ones i'd advise shoes for the outdoor area. Restaurants along the beachfront were nice too and a short taxi to Banus/Marbella if you wanted more. Would 100% recommend and will stay again.

The villa is walking distance to the beach, local bars and restaurants. As its first clients to rent the property all kitchen utensils etc was brand spanking new and in excellent condition. Great selection of glasses too! Communication with Thomas wasee more
